Business or learners that have, 2D knowledge of AutoCAD and wish to exploit the 3D aspects of AutoCAD and develop its use within their job role or business.
Aim:
To give a business or learners the basic skills to be able to use and exploit AutoCAD in 3D creating solid models and then creating the orthographic (2D) drawings in seconds.
Course Objectives:
Things to know about AutoCAD for 3D -
Creating and saving drawings from 3D templates (custom templates if required provided)
Preparing AutoCAD environment for 3D drawing and saving profiles
Regions to solid models
Using the 3D modelling commands
Using the 3D editing commands
Areas to Volumes to Mass Properties
Creating orthographic drawings from 3D solids
Printing drawings in model and paper space.
Duration:
1 day. Time: 9.30 – 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively, two sessions 9-12 noon Saturday.
