2D CAD using AutoCAD
Suitable for:
Business or learners that have no, or limited, knowledge of AutoCAD and wish to develop its use within their job role or business.
Aim:
To give a business or learners the basic skills to be able to use AutoCAD in 2D from creating models in model space to displaying models to scale in paper space ready for printing.
Course Objectives:
Things to know about AutoCAD for 2D -
Creating and saving files from templates (custom templates if required provided)
CAD concepts and zooming around
Model space and paper space environments
Preparing AutoCAD environment for 2D drawing and saving profiles
Using the drawing commands
Using the editing commands
Creating entities using geometry
Interrogating the geometry
Printing drawings in model and paper space.
Duration:
1 day. Time: 9.30 – 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively, two sessions 9-12 noon Saturday.
Course Content:
Our most popular CAD course and ideal for a business, or learners, requiring fast track basic skills for using AutoCAD in 2D. The course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to use AutoCAD for creating 2D drawings. After this one day course your CAD system will be set up to produce 2D CAD drawings easily and efficiently.
